Website Design & Development
Studio Three Sixty are an award-winning design practice founded by Emma Chapman and Lucy Osborne. They create inspirational user-friendly cultural spaces, that care for people and the planet.
Studio Three Sixty’s previous website was out-dated, clunky, and delivered a poor user experience. They asked us to design and develop an improvement, that succinctly communicated their innovative design approaches, and would serve as a point of reference for venues and collaborators.
With a brand identity designed only for print, Emma and Lucy also asked for us to consider expanding the brand for digital spaces. We added more vibrant, digital only versions of their current palette, giving a much fresher and energetic feel. A new headline typeface, Styrene A was also added, to complement the narrower forms of the body copy typeface.
Three things were central to the redesign: explaining the breadth of Studio Three Sixty’s work, conveying their outside-the-box solutions, and providing a delightful yet usable user experience. The top of the homepage reflects the studio’s creative adaptations of spaces, with the navigation taking the form of suspended circles. When the page is scrolled, these navigation elements subtly morph into a more standard layout.
A range of unique case study pages were created too, featuring full bleed imagery, and controls that allow the studio to add and update the content in the future.
“Its looking awesome! We are so happy. Thank you so much all — we are over the moon with the website!”
