Sciendo
Enterprise level application built with scalable microservice based architecture, failover configuration and a React UI to ensure reliable, lightning speed searches through 100K+ products.
Sciendo publishes and provides access to over 600 academic journals and books. Their previous site delivered a poor user experience for their 350,000+ monthly visitors, with load and search times frequent sources of frustration.
Working with the existing Sciendo brand, we redesigned and developed Sciendo’s new site with scalable architecture, multi-language support, and a best in class search engine that delivers search results in milliseconds.
Various industry specific integrations have been added to the site, such as Liblynx, AltMetric, TrendMD, AddThis, as well as CrossRef Integration for DOI Registration. We also designed a custom back-end platform for Sciendo to manage the content themselves moving forward.
